Gentle Shampoo with Milkweed Seed Oil (pre-order)
A gentle, sulfate-free shampoo enriched with milkweed seed oil, a by-product of the milkweed floss we process in Québec. It cleans without stripping and leaves hair soft, with no weighed-down feel.
Three options: Floral, honeysuckle and jasmine, like milkweed in bloom; Woody, green and resinous, like the forest floor after rain; Unscented, with no added fragrance, for sensitive noses and scalps. The same botanical palette as our glycerin soap.
Without sulfates, the lather is more modest than that of store-bought shampoos. That is normal, and it is the price of a gentle base.
Ingredients
- Sulfate-free cleansing base
- Milkweed seed oil (Asclepias syriaca), a by-product of pressing our seeds
- Botanical fragrance, absent from the Unscented version

Responsible and cruelty-free
Petroleum, the basis of synthetic insulation, destroys ecosystems, and the down industry makes animals suffer needlessly. Milkweed, grown and processed in Canada, is eco-friendly, plant-based and outperforms its competitors.
Respectful of monarchs
