Shipping policy
In Canada
Free shipping on orders of $98.59 and up (subtotal before taxes), anywhere in Canada. Below that amount, two options at checkout: Standard at $6.99 or Express at $9.99.
Small items that fit in a large envelope (seeds, seed bombs, one or two pairs of insoles) ship by stamp for $2.99, without a tracking number. The option appears at checkout when the cart allows it.
Parcels leave Québec City by Canada Post. Transit time depends on the destination: the tracking number, emailed when the order ships, gives you the expected delivery date.
Free pickup
- Québec City: at our workshop in Limoilou, by appointment. Choose the pickup option at checkout; you receive an email with a link to book a time once the order is ready.
- Montréal: at the shop Les Défricheuses, 1319 Beaubien Street East. Show your confirmation email and your order number (it starts with L-) once you get the notice that the order has arrived.
Processing and pre-orders
Orders don't ship the same day: allow for packing time. A pre-order product ships after the estimated ship date shown on its product page and in your confirmation, not before. An order mixing in-stock and pre-order items ships together, on the pre-order date.
Tracking, address and missing parcels
- Tracking activates when Canada Post picks up the parcel, not when the label is created. A "label created" status for a few days is normal. If nothing moves after a week, write to us with your order number.
- As long as the order hasn't shipped, we correct the address at no charge: write quickly to hey@lasclay.com. Once the parcel has left, an address change may involve carrier fees, which will be charged to you. An incomplete or incorrect address provided at checkout can delay delivery or send the parcel back to us; reshipping costs are then your responsibility.
- Parcel marked "delivered" but nothing received? Check the post office listed in the tracking, with a neighbour, and the address on your confirmation. Otherwise, write to us: we open an investigation with the carrier and find a solution with you.
Outside Canada
Lasclay ships to the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico. Rates are shown in the cart based on the destination, in the zone's currency.

Seeds and seed bombs to the United States ship by stamp, without a tracking number. Customs duties, import taxes and brokerage fees, where applicable, are the recipient's responsibility and are collected by the carrier on delivery.
Exchanges and returns
In Canada, exchanges are free: prepaid return label, no fees. The details, including the $9.99 fee deducted from a refund, are in our return and refund policy.
