At Lasclay, we do a lot more than hand out one more Black Friday discount. This is the 3^rd edition of the Lasclay Fall Contest.

From October 3 to December 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., every purchase on lasclay.com earns you entries toward one of our 10 prizes, worth more than $15,000 in total.

How to enter

• Every $25 spent on lasclay.com, from October 3 to December 20, 2026, earns you 1 entry in the secondary prize draw.
• Every $100 spent earns you 1 entry in the grand prize draw.

So a $100 order gives you 4 entries for the secondary prizes and 1 entry for the grand prize. Purchases add up over the whole contest: there is nothing to fill out, entries accumulate automatically under the email address on your orders.

The weekly deals

The contest does not replace everything. Over the eleven weeks, a few products are on sale at a time, and it changes from one week to the next: insoles and the scarf one week, something else the next. No code to enter, the discount applies on its own at checkout, and a discounted product counts toward the contest like any other purchase.

We announce them in the Saturday morning newsletter, and nowhere else first. That is the real reason to sign up, and it happens to earn you an extra entry too.

Why a contest instead of a Black Friday

We could have done what everyone does: 20 percent off the whole catalogue, one weekend in November, and make it back somewhere else. A discount on everything always gets paid for somewhere, and most often it is paid by the material or by the people who make it. So we do the opposite: a few products at a time, rotating, and a contest that gives a lot to a few people. Two of whom will go see with their own eyes where all of this leads.

The silk attached to the seeds. It is what goes into the jackets, and it is what pays for the fields.

Because that is where our reason for existing is. Milkweed is the only plant a monarch can lay its eggs on. As long as it is worth nothing, nobody grows it, and the fields disappear. So we turn it into mittens, beanies and insoles to make it worth something, to keep fields standing, and to leave the butterfly somewhere to breed. The Piedra Herrada sanctuary is the other end of the same thread.

Rules

The short version: open to residents of Canada and the United States who have reached the age of majority, draws during the week of January 5, 2027, and you can enter without buying anything.

Read the ten rules

1. Contest period. The contest runs from October 3, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. to December 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., Eastern time.
2. Eligibility. Open to residents of Canada and the United States who have reached the age of majority in their province, territory or state of residence. Employees of Les Produits Lasclay inc. and members of their immediate families are not eligible.
3. How entries are earned. Each complete $25 of purchases earns one entry in the secondary prize draw. Each complete $100 earns one entry in the grand prize draw. Amounts are calculated on the product price actually paid, after any discount, before taxes and shipping. Entries are tied to the email address used on the order.
4. Cancelled or refunded orders. Entries tied to an order cancelled or refunded before the draw are removed.
5. Draws. Draws will be held at random among all eligible entries during the week of January 5, 2027, at the offices of Les Produits Lasclay inc. in Quebec City. Winners will be contacted by email and must respond within 10 business days, failing which a new draw will be held for that prize.
6. Grand prize. The trip is for two people and must be booked through Lasclay. Dates are agreed with the winner based on availability and on the season the monarchs are present at the sanctuary, which generally runs from late November to mid-March. The prize includes round-trip air travel from a Canadian city, accommodation and the excursion to the Piedra Herrada sanctuary. Personal expenses, meals not included, travel insurance and valid travel documents remain the winners’ responsibility. Both travellers must be of the age of majority or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
7. Secondary prizes. The values shown are the current retail price of the products included. Product prizes are awarded in the sizes, colours, scents and models available at the time of claim; an unavailable item is replaced by an item of equivalent value or by a gift card. Some milkweed oil body care products are on pre-order: they are sent to the winner as soon as they arrive. A prize cannot be exchanged for its cash value, except in the cases described above.
8. Weekly deals. Weekly discounts are announced in the newsletter and apply automatically to the products concerned, for the period stated. They cannot be combined with another promotional code and may change without notice.
9. No purchase necessary. You may enter without a purchase by writing to our customer service, at the address shown at the bottom of every page of the site, including your name, address and phone number, along with an original text of at least 100 words about the monarch butterfly. Each eligible submission earns one entry in the secondary prize draw. Limit of one submission per person per week.
10. Other. Lasclay reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest in the event of circumstances beyond its control. Lasclay’s decisions are final. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram, Meta or Google.

This week's deal

From October 24 to October 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.: 40% off our previous product versions, and 60% off the grey non-adjustable neck warmer.

These are the last units from before our manufacturing shift, the ones that were assembled in Québec. Once they are gone they will not come back: the new production now happens in Tunisia, with the same milkweed insulation grown and processed here. If these versions were the ones you wanted, now is the time. No code to enter, the discount applies on its own at checkout.
