Mission

The current mission of Lasclay is to restore the populations of North American monarch butterflies to their pre-industrial levels within the next 10 years.

How we do it

We achieve our mission by designing products, processes, and manufacturing technologies that showcase the exceptional properties of milkweed.

By doing so, we contribute to the sustainability of milkweed crops, which provide habitats for monarch butterflies and several other pollinators.

Suppliers

We prioritize suppliers in close proximity to our operations to minimize our carbon footprint. For example, when it comes to production in Quebec, we follow the following order of priority:

  1. Provincial (Quebec)
  2. Federal (Canada)
  3. Continental (United States/Mexico)
  4. Global (as a last resort).
