The easiest and most effective way yet to plant milkweed and help monarchs!
To be planted in the spring, milkweed—like most native northern plants—requires a cold stratification period of at least 30 days under specific conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.). And even then, germination isn’t 100% guaranteed.

Good news: we’ve done the hard part for you—just transplant and grow!

IMPORTANT: This product is available for pre-order and can be picked up in Québec City or Montréal during scheduled pickup events. It is not possible to deliver plants to the United States.

Help monarch butterflies and pollinators by planting native milkweed. Milkweed leaves are the only food source for monarch caterpillars, while its flowers provide abundant nectar for many threatened pollinator species.

If you do not immediately plant the seed bombs upon receipt of your order, store them in the refrigerator to delay germination.

Informations supplémentaires
  • When sowing: In May, June, or July, drop the bomb on the surface and lightly cover with soil, without risk of birds or weather affecting the seeds.
  • Cold stratification not necessary, since they will have already undergone cold treatment upon receipt.
